About IIKR

An institute built for researchers who were being left out

The International Institute of Knowledge and Research (IIKR) was set up on a simple observation: a great deal of good research never reaches an audience, not because of its quality but because of its author's postcode, budget or institution.

IIKR works to close that gap. We organise international conferences that cost nothing to attend, run entirely online, and accept work from every discipline. We help authors get from a draft to a peer-reviewed, permanently citable publication. And we keep the community connected between events, so that a conversation started in a session does not end when the session does.

The institute works alongside CSRfirst Research Consultancy and technology partner Varshyl Technologies Pvt Ltd, and collaborates with academic publishers to route accepted work into open access journals.

IIKR
What we do

Four things, done properly

Everything IIKR runs is built around removing a specific obstacle between a researcher and an audience.

International conferences

Multidisciplinary virtual conferences with double-blind review, parallel technical sessions and certificates for every registered author.

See IMCCRT

Publication support

Accepted conference papers are routed to peer-reviewed open access journals and published with a CrossRef DOI at no cost to the author.

How it works

Research community

A standing network of authors, reviewers and session chairs across disciplines and time zones, kept active between conference editions.

Join the network

Edited volumes

Multi-author edited books with ISBN, giving early-career researchers a route into book chapter authorship alongside senior editors.

Flagship programme

IMCCRT — the conference series

The International Multidisciplinary Conference on Current Research Trends is IIKR's flagship event and has run for twelve editions. It is deliberately virtual: participants join from wherever they are, at minimal cost, and present to an audience drawn from more than thirty countries.

The thirteenth edition, IMCCRT 2026, takes place on 30 September 2026. Registration is free in every delegate category, and accepted papers are published free of cost with a CrossRef DOI.

  • Twelve tracks spanning computing, engineering, health, agriculture, management, law and the humanities
  • Double-blind review by at least two independent subject reviewers
  • E-certificate of presentation for every registered author
  • Best paper award in each track, selected by session chairs

Platform

Research Circle

A community platform launched at an IMCCRT edition, intended as a single place for researchers to stay connected, find collaborators and follow work in adjacent fields between conferences.

Books

Edited volumes with ISBN

Multi-author edited books drawing lead editors, co-editors and chapter authors from the conference community — a practical first book credit for early-career researchers.

Publishing

Open access publication

Working with open access publishers so that accepted conference papers appear in peer-reviewed journals with a DOI, under a CC BY licence, at no charge to authors or readers.

People

Reviewer development

Doctoral scholars and early-career faculty are inducted into the review panel with guidance, building peer-review experience that is otherwise hard to acquire.

Sessions

Doctoral colloquium

A dedicated session where PhD scholars present in-progress work and receive structured feedback from senior researchers outside their own department.

Institutions

Institutional collaboration

Departments and colleges can co-host a themed track: they nominate chairs and reviewers, IIKR runs the platform, review workflow and publication route.

History

Twelve editions, and what changed along the way

Early editions

A small in-person meeting

The conference began as a modest multidisciplinary gathering, with a few dozen papers and a strong bias toward regional participation.

The virtual shift

Moving entirely online

IIKR, with CSRfirst Research Consultancy and Varshyl Technologies, moved the conference fully online — and the delegate list immediately widened beyond the region.

Questions

Frequently asked

Anyone doing research work, at any career stage — faculty, doctoral and postgraduate scholars, clinicians, practising engineers, industry researchers, policy researchers and independent scholars. There is no institutional requirement.

Not for IMCCRT 2026. Registration is free in every delegate category, and there is no publication charge either. Report any request for payment claiming to be from IIKR to the organising desk.

Fully virtual. Sessions run on a standard video conferencing platform, so no travel, accommodation or visa arrangement is needed. Participation letters for institutional records are issued on request.

Accepted papers are published in a peer-reviewed open access journal matched to your track, with a CrossRef DOI and a permanent article page. Indexing status varies by journal and is stated on each journal's own page — check there rather than relying on a general claim.

Every submission is screened for scope and similarity, then reviewed double-blind by at least two independent reviewers with subject expertise. Papers with a similarity index above 15% are returned before review.

Yes. Researchers with a doctoral qualification and a publication record in any conference track can apply. Send your CV, ORCID and preferred track to the institute and you will be added to the panel for the next edition.
